Nearly 20% of people in Arizona struggle with hunger. Fortunately, food and fund drives help St. Mary’s Food Bank make sure that everyone has access to wholesome, nutritious meals. In fact, the food bank can turn $1 donated by you into 7 meals for our hungry neighbors. With our efficient operations, buying power and volunteer support, we stretch your dollar much further than what it purchases at a grocery store. Donations and community involvement are what makes St. Mary’s successful at helping.

Food Donation Drop-Off Sites

  • St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance Phoenix

Food Donations can be dropped off Monday – Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm. Look for the drop off area just east of our admin office entrance. Ring the bell if you need assistance unloading or need a donation receipt.

Food donations can be made Mon-Fri from 8am-4pm. Look for Dock A which is directly north of the main entrance to unload your donation. A St. Mary’s employee will be able to assist with unloading and provide a receipt if necessary.

Food Industry Partners

Large-scale food donations are a critical part of our mission to fight hunger in Arizona. While community food drives and individual food donations are extremely valuable, the scale of our work also requires the support of donors in the manufacturing, warehouse/logistics, produce/agriculture and food services industries. Only through the ongoing support of food industry donors can we continue to feed hundreds of thousands of Arizonans each year.

Citrus Gleaning (Seasonal)

Your excess citrus can become important nutrition for Arizona’s hungry. Sign up to have your citrus trees gleaned for a small fee. Online registration will begin on September 5, 2017 and ends December 4, 2017. Please note that gleaning will start on January 15th and end on March 31, 2018. Gleaning schedule notifications will be sent as soon as your trees are scheduled for gleaning and you will be notified prior to the coming of the gleaning crew. You DO NOT need to call for scheduling until end of end of February, in case we missed you.

St Mary’s Food Bank Alliance will be gleaning in the following zip codes in 2018: 85018, 85251, 85351, 85373, 85374 and 85375.

Please click THIS LINK for your registration if you are within these zip codes.  Gleaning of small trees below 20 feet cost $25 while big trees above 20 feet cost $30.

If you need help to glean your trees but your property is not within the designated zip codes, you can send an email to, if you have more than 30 trees. Organizations such as Home Owners Association (HOA) with more than 70 trees bur also outside the designated zip codes can also send an email. Or you can ask for bin and glean the trees and donate the fruits to St Mary’s Food Bank. Gleaning of property will be based on availability of gleaning crew.
