PHOENIX: Start the New Year with the brilliance and creativity only found at Lights of the World.
On Wednesday, Jan.16, guests can receive free admission, just by bringing in 8 canned food items to be donated to St. Mary’s Food Bank.
“Our Fair Friends come out in full force to support our We Care Wednesday program which also supports St. Mary’s Food Bank, and we’re honored that our Lights of the World partner is extending this invitation so the community can enjoy the millions of beautiful lights and handmade lantern creations,” said Wanell Costello, Executive Director of the Arizona Exposition & State Fair.
On Wednesday, Jan. 16, One Admission is free with 8 canned food items. Currently, canned fruit and nut butters are in demand.
Over 40,000 hours were dedicated to hand-crafting the 65 stunning, multi-cultural lantern displays. A walk around the attraction takes you to the U.S. Capitol, the Taj Mahal, Parthenon, Tigers, Dinosaurs, Panthers, oh my! Plus, watch Sea Lion shows, and indulge in authentic Chinese Food items, just in time for Chinese New Year. Carnival rides are also included with Admission.
Located in the heart of downtown Phoenix through Feb. 3, Lights of the World is open Tuesdays – Sundays, 5 p.m. – 10 p.m., at the Arizona State Fairgrounds. For more information click HERE.
