“You put food in my cabinets…”

You Put Food In My Cabinets

You gave Sharon a reason to smile again.

When Sharon and her husband relocated to Arizona, they knew this would be a great place to live out their golden years. Though money was tight, they were getting by. Then Sharon’s husband suddenly passed away and her world was turned upside down.Sharon is living on a fixed income, and that’s why she is so grateful for St. Mary’s Food Bank — and for generous friends like you who care.“God bless you,” she said. “You put food in my cabinets because I did not have anything.”Sharon is quick to pay your generosity forward by sharing whatever she can with her neighbors in need.“They can’t get to St. Mary’s, so if I have a little extra food, I give it to them,” she said. “It makes my day that you could help others.”Your continued support today will help make sure other Arizonans like Sharon receive nutritious food in their time of need.
